Step Up
Step Up, the upwardly mobile network, is for people in London who are in a low-paid job but want to take home more money. The network, which is run jointly by Thames Reach and Clean Slate Training & Employment, aims to support low pay workers living in Lambeth and the rest of London onto the London Living Wage. The network can help people to:
- Earn at least the London Living Wage for at least 14 hours a week
- Improve how well off you and your family are
- Find better roles and more rewarding jobs with better for prospects in the future
From the Step Up website you can join the Network, find current work vacancies, learn money saving tips and increase your income. You can also find out about Step Up’s latest networking and training events.
Using text messaging and email notifications, Step Up will notify you of job vacancies, training opportunities and networking events to help you increase your income. Using information provided by you using their three sign-up surveys, they aim to match the right work opportunities for your skills and aspirations, and where necessary we will help you find the training to achieve your goals.Step Up also have employment support workers available for one-to-one meetings at their base in Peckham.
